As care is a topic in which we all interact with at some point in our lives, this full afternoon event brings practitioners, researchers, and performers into dialogue with the topic of art and care. As a focus point, Modelo62 invites musician-researcher, and ensemble co-founder Justin Christensen to introduce SLIDERS, a new cooperation and musical activity in which people living with dementia actively participate in making live music together with Modelo62 musicians.

The afternoon event includes presentations and a panel discussion which will include time for questions and exchange with all in attendance. The event ends with refreshments and informal space for meeting each other. 

We invite professionals and researchers working between art and care, composers, educators, policy makers, students, healthcare workers, and anyone else who finds this topic relevant.
