Do you make work that could come alive in dialogue with another musician? We’re looking for makers based in the Netherlands to propose a new project to be created — and performed — in collaboration with a Modelo62 musician.

Choose your collaborator:
Keys · Clarinets · Percussion · Double Bass · Violin
What we offer:
We believe in real collaboration. If selected, you will receive:
— a commission fee of €4,850
— access to the M62 studio
— multiple working sessions with one of our musicians
— a premiere at the Sound or Not Festival in December 2026
— professional documentation of the performance
— artistic feedback throughout the process
You can apply if you are:
— a maker based in the Netherlands
— not currently enrolled as a student
— all artistic practices and languages are welcome
— there is no age limit
We give priority to new collaborations and to makers who have not received a commission fee in the recent past. We especially encourage proposals where makers perform alongside the M62 musician.
How to apply:
Send us a one-page proposal including:
— the intended duration of the piece
— a short note on why this work fits within the broader vision of Modelo62
Deadline: 31 May 2026

Proposals are reviewed by our evaluation committee: Reinier van Houdt, Lise Morrison, Elliot Simpson, and Chloë Abbott.
