A new educational project in collaboration with Ensemble Klang and the Composition Department of the Koninklijk Conservatorium of The Hague: each group worked with ca. 25 composers that wrote fragments and/or miniatures. It was a great experience for all involved!
Concluding the project Composer Speed Date, Modelo62 presented an exciting new programme.

On September 16th we premiered in the foyer of the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ a new sound-sculpture by Dutch composer and sound artist Martijn Tellinga.
The piece deals with the interactions of acoustic phenomena in space combined with a high degree of microtonality. We are also happy to develop a new collaboration with the Amsterdam based experimental concert series DNK Amsterdam

Modelo62 has been invited to the Darmstädter-Ferienkurse to perform new works by Gunnar Andreas Kristinsson, Santiago Santero, and Alexander Sigman, as well as Sweden-based Japanese composer Rei Munakata's Sweeping Buddhist, selected by the IMD jury.
